O Sport, You Are World Peace
We love this sentiment, which we found at the training ground just outside Luzhniki Stadium… given the current troubles in the Middle East, does anyone fancy organising a game between Israel and Palestine, like the one at Christmas in 1914?
Could sport ever really bring peace, or is it just naivety?

Rob: Phil’s sitting next to me in the process of asking Ben to tweak the image a bit - that’s how it looks straight off the camera… not too great, but there are no copies of Photoshop here in this Tashkent internet cafe. Lots of video - some sweet moments. If all goes to plan, you’ll see the edited stuff here in May.

It is a lot better to use sport to promote cooperation and peace than factional hate and racism. Good luck to those who want to use sport for social development and enjoyment and not just for financial gain.
